This lamp was just an exercise in 3D modeling and texturing. I created it, and the small test environment, for fun and practice.
The normals were baked from a high-poly version to a very low-poly version, just to test how far I could decimate the model before it became noticeable in-game. City shots are taken in Unreal engine, where I also modeled several buildings and storefronts for practice with UV unwrapping, material creation, and normal baking. The large central building is Smith Tower, an iconic tower in Seattle's Pioneer Square.
The final textures for the lamp are 2048x2048. Each building also has a 2048x texture.
